Hi all thought i would write something i was informed that not everyone reads my daughter's blog.We had a nice quite Thanksgiving Dinner just was Don's mom ,the five of us and Don's sister Kathy and her Friend Doug.Don's great grandma who is 91didn't make it she passed out on wed.took her to the hospital said she had to much potassium in her body she came home the same day but decided it would be better to stay home.They have decided that the shots Don was haveing are not having any effect so he is going to see another Doctor they are going to try something else.The kids are doing great Haylee had a good conference with the teacher she isn't having any problems thank goodness.Ryelee is as cute as ever it amazes me how well he talks when he first got here he hardly talked at all not he talks and talks so does his sister so there mouths are always going,Got to get started on Xmas can't believe it is only a month away this year has flown byDecember 13 Don will have quit smoking for a year amazing.Gotta go the little guy is waking up

hi all .Well we all have colds around here thanks to Haylee and the school but that happens when you have kids in school.Saleena and Dustin got married on the 9th of this month that is something they have been talking about for a couple of years now ever since she had become pregnant with Cade well he is 1 1/2 now should work out they have already went thru some bad times and survived.We have Ryelee potty trained now it is great no more diapers.Don goes to the doctor for some more shots today don't know if they are doing anygood though.Idon't know if i wrote this before but we took our dog missy to the vet she is having trouble walking come to find out her knees pop out once in awhile we thought it was her hips (wrong)it is caused by fast movements in her case she always like to run and get her sock and play tug of war or shake it well all the years of that is what caused it now she a anti-inflamatory once that gets going she walks better she still walks funny though she takes this little tiny steps with her back legs.thats all that is happening now bye

Hi everyone... everything is pretty quiet around here... not too much going on. We took our dog Missy to the vet Friday. She has been having what we thought were hip problems... turns out she has bad knees and they dislocate if she moves too fast. They checked her out and gave her some anti inflammatory and it seems to be working. Other then that she is in good health. We are happy to hear that.... she is the last one now. We lost Screech (our cat) last month... she was 15 years old. Don is having his shots... don't know if they are going to do any good (what they are doing is putting a numbing stuff in a needle... then the doctor pokes the needle around kind of like a wagon wheel is the way he described it and goes around bruising the muscle which is suppose to promote blood vessel to form in the bruising area ... ouch!). His vocational counselor and L&I have stopped his training until he is released by the doc. Just another chapter with L&I... how fun. It was nice to see everyone at mom's birthday nice party. Haylee is loving school... good thing! Rylee is almost potty trained ... yeah!! Thats about all that is going on here! Got to go!

Hi okay Joyce i am updating.Don is doing fantastic he is out mowing the yard now he has been out for about a week now still on two antibiotics,hard to beieve he was that sick but it was a close one.Haylee is loving kindergarten her teacher is very nice and Summitview is a good school she gets to ride the bus it picks them up at the end of our little road very handy.This weekend we have Dustin staying here so he can spend time with the kids they need that now and then the kids and the parents.first time he has got to spend that much time with them since March when we got them. they have postponed Don's shots for his back for another week they were going to start the friday he got sick other then that we are all doing fine

Hi thought i would write alittle bit about Don since the 9th of this month Don hasn't been feeling well we thought he was getting better then he wasn't finally talked him into going to the emergency room found out he has a severe infection in his bowels they have been giving him mass doses of antibiotics they seem to be working the Doctor came in today anmd said everything looks good they might let him have food tomorrow.we just want to say thank you for all the prayers i believe thety kept him from having surgery it sure looked like it was going to happen thanks again

Well i hadn't realized how long it has been sincwe i updated meant to a couple of times lets see what have we been up to.We took the kids to Kingston a couple of weeks ago they had a blast the first time they ever road a ferry they thought that was fun.Went to Annette and Chuck so they could run around and ride their pony peaches he is a shetland pony and geat with the kids.Haylee wasn't to sure at first if she was going to ride but then Rylee got on he loved Annett said he has a natural balance on the horse in the two day's we went there he rode about six times Haylee rode about three times.Aly was great with Haylee and took her in her room and let her hang out with her told Aly thank you for that.In the past two weeks we have had new double pane windows put in when they did our slider some how they cut a wire and three of my outlets were dead so my computer was down for almost aweek because of one of them was for it,so that was fixed yesterday we also had direct tv installed so from about 9 to 3 i had people in and out plays heck for nap time, also forgot to say that Don has and intestinal thing going so he hasn't been well this week he is on the mend.Also L&I has oked a series of shots for Don had to cancel the first one because of being sick so his first one is on the 24th i think.The kids mom and step dad are both doing good keep them in your prayers they need all the help they can get much love

i guess it has been longer then i thought since i have been on.Right now Don and the kids are running thru the sprinkler, right now it is ten oclock and it is already 73 out suppose to get 93 and get hotter as the week goes on.The kids had a great time with there mom had a little problem after she left they forgot that they are suppose to listen to us so that took a couple of day's still working on potty training he does pretty good when he is in the house once he goes out side he won't come in so we are still working on that.Don's dr. is sending him to another doctor for a consultation on trying shots again he sees him on the 26th of this month.othher then that we are all doing fine here

Hi all how is everyone i know it has been awhile.Not really been that busy just haven't done it.
Right now we are trying to potty train Ryelee he is so funny first time he went poop in the toilet he said oh my butt,now he calls it making poop been fairly sucessful if we catch him he is usually dry the problem is telling us when he has to go.The kids are going to freak out tonight Saleena is comming to spend a couple of day's they don't know yet she is coming by bus and won't get in until 8:30 she goes back on Thursday.After thirty day's they are allowed to do that the kids need some momma time.Other then that life is pretty uneventful right now which is nice

Hi all saturday we went down to Kennewick to visit the kids mom she is doing very well it is hard when we get ready to leave wasn't as bad this time though.I love having the kids but i will love them more when they are back home.After her ninety day's at the oxford house she has to get a place and be able to pay rent and bills and have the place for awhile before she can get the kids back so we have aways to go.Other then that it was a lazy weekend Don went fishing and caught two fish and enjoyed the quite time away

Sorry about my last blog. Laureena played basketball i forgot not everyone knows that.It was called the AAU best of the west .They placed third was pretty exciting.Other then that not much has been going on here weather is starting to be in the eighty's this week don;t think i like that to early for that kind of weather.

Hi all been busy lately got the kids in for checkups and haylee registered for kindergarten she of course thrilled out of her mind cause she gets to ride a bus.Last night and this morning Don and i went to watch one of our neice Roxy's (Ken's)daughter Laureena play They are called the Rain they won last night in Naches yeah ,this morning they played at west valley and won got another game about 4 then we will see where they are in the standings for more play off games so it was an add bonus that they were doing playoffs here i think it is because of being in the middle of the state seen teams from all over.BY the way Saleena is doing good so keep on praying for her she was able to get into a half way house and started back to work at her job so thing are moving along.byby

Hi everyone so far we are doing ok with the kids.Last Sunday we went to Moses Lake and spent the day at Dustin's mom and had a bbq.so Haylee and Ryelee could spend some time with their mom and dad before they each go Saleena has a ninety day thing in a halfway house and dustin is going in for a ninety day in house treatment,it was a good day Haylee cried when we left but we expected that she was very tired.Looks like we will have them for awhile so we are registering Haylee for Kindergarten went to the Doctor for a check up and to update her shots she needed 5 one was combined so she had 2 in each leg and she didn't cry at all told her she was very brave 4 shots at one time.Next week we take in Ryelee for a check up.i think he is behind only one shot.Went to Wal-Mart and got some sandles and shorts for the kids i will be so happy when they start building the new one the other one is way to crowded and the new one will be on our side of town enough rambling bye

Hi been awhile since i have wrote anthing sorry about that.Yesterday Don and i went to Fred Meyers and got Haylee and Ryelee each a bike.They were so excited got a good deal her's was only $34 and his was $15 his is so cute cost us more for the helment and pads then the bike.Now they can ride with CJ he got one for his birthday on Sunday we went to Kids castle they have partys there and this big maze of slide tubes ,ball pits,alsorts of things its about as big as 2 of moms trailers.they also opened up part of the gymanstic school so there got to play in the foam pit Haylee liked that lot of places to run and jump. the kids are doing great this weekend we are taking the to moses lake to see there mom she will be there over the weekend before she goes to a halfway house for three months hopefully that will be it and the kids will go home thenwell gotta go fix breakfast

hi everyone well not much to say except everything is going good.Talked to Saleena on Easter they are springing her early she will be getting out on the 27th of this month,they told her with everything she has been doing before she came her AA and Drug Court and she has a job waiting for her.But i am not sure now what is going to happen the imature jerk that she is with moved to Moses Lake and is working at Burger King until her can get a construction job i should also mention his mom lives in moses and she has the baby kade she probably told him to get his but over there.So i am not sure what it will do for Saleeena and her release i guess we will find out soon enough.Sent her a letter today and told her just incase he hasn't wrote her like he said he was.Basicly told her that what ever Dustin does does'nt matter it what she does and that we are not going to raise her kids so she better get it together

Hi thought i would vent on the stupidy of some things we have to do to have these kids.this is a list of what we have to do for 3rd party custody.we have to pay 100.00 for mandatory parenting classes,Do a criminal background check on the three of us if we do it our self it will only be 10.00 apeice,try to find the kid's real dad and if we can't find him we have to put a add in the paper where we think he might have lived or has family which could run us to 700.00 for the newspaper ads,Needless to say we are done with what we are going to do there are a few programs that we might get some help with the money but it still won't be enough to cover what we spend.Basically if they don't like it the state can take them.There mom is in Spokane for ninety days so she should be out first of July.i think the whole thing is stupid you would think that the state would be happy that we have them since there is a shortage of foster homes.enough griping by

Well all is quite for now got the darlin's down or a nap.So far everything is going good the kid's are being great.Got them all sign up for W.I.C. and medical also we will be getting financial help.Friday we go to Richland and fill out 3rd party custody papers.Yesterday there mom got in to a treatment program in spokane i should say i am assuming so.She called us last night at the bus depot.the number they gave her to call does't accept calls after 4:30 they don't listen to the messages until the next morning so far we haven't heard from her so i am assuming she is in.I hope so anyway

my life as i once knew it is gone.My house used to be quite and restful,it no longer is we have little children now.I realize that their probably is very little sympathy for me but i did this already i really did not want another turn.Got some things done went down to DSHS and got some help with the kid's medical and some money,tomorrow we have a w.i.c.appointment so that will help alot.I must say that they have been good kids no temper melt downs which i am very thankful for and to seem to be taking this pretty good.which is good but kinda sad to that they are so used to being moved around alot and they just seem to take it instride.oh gotta get off nap time is over they want their snack tata

Hi everyone has been awhile since i updated alot of things have been going.we have or going to have temporary custody of my neice and nephew Haylee and Rylee iam not sure about this it was us or fosterhome.Haylee is 4 almost 5 and Rylee just turned 2 in feb.Lets say it is quite an adjustment pray for the mom to get it together so wer can give them back oh gotta go

hi all just want to thank you Heather for taking to Kingston and Libby and Kevin for bringing me home i really appreciated it so did Don and mom.Had agood time it was nice to be with mom and see her getting back to her old self she has had such a rough year she is taking physical therapy and that is doing very good she is starting to get some upper body strenght now witch is something she was needing she has fallen and not had the strenght to pull her self up now she is. thanks again Lois

Back from Valentine's Day

Just want to wish anyone who reads this Happy Valentine's Day.T omorrow i am going to Kingston to visit with mom for a week it sure is nice going over because she is feeeling so much better now.Not much going on here we had our patio cover reroofed it was hard for Don of course he wanted to help but all he could do was supervise and make sure it was done right if you knew the people that did it you would understand why he had to be out there.Don still is not smoking so i think we can safley say he is done.got to get some things done before i go bye lolo
